Terms of Use

Please read these Website Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) carefully before using this website (hereinafter referred to as “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site. Please note that these Terms may be amended without prior notice.


Usage Environment

  6. Acts of sending unsolicited emails, including spam or newsletters.
  7. Acts that violate or may violate laws and regulations, in addition to the above.
  8. Any other acts that we reasonably determine to be inappropriate.

Copyrights and Trademarks

  1. All content on the Site, including text, images (photographs, illustrations), programs, and other works, is protected by copyright owned by our company, its subsidiaries, parent company, affiliates, or licensors (collectively referred to as “Asurion Group”). Unauthorized use (including reproduction, distribution, or transmission) is strictly prohibited.
  2. All trademarks displayed on the Site are owned by the Asurion Group. Unauthorized use (including reproduction, distribution, or publication) is strictly prohibited.

Disclaimer

  1. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of the information on the Site, we make no warranties or representations regarding its accuracy or completeness. The Asurion Group shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Site for any reason.
  2. The Asurion Group assumes no responsibility for the content of any linked sites or any issues arising from such content.

Exclusion of Antisocial Forces

  1. Both users and our company represent and warrant that they are not and will not be associated with organized crime groups, members thereof, or any equivalent entities (collectively referred to as “Organized Crime Members”), and that none of the following apply:
    • (1) Having a relationship where Organized Crime Members control management.
    • (2) Having a relationship where Organized Crime Members are substantially involved in management.
    • (3) Using Organized Crime Members for improper purposes such as gaining illicit benefits or harming third parties.
    • (4) Providing funds or benefits to Organized Crime Members.
    • (5) Having socially condemnable relationships with Organized Crime Members.
  2. Both parties agree not to engage in any of the following acts, either directly or through third parties:
    • (1) Violent demands.
    • (2) Unreasonable demands beyond legal responsibility.
    • (3) Threatening behavior or use of violence in connection with transactions.
    • (4) Spreading rumors, using deception, or exerting force to damage the other party’s credibility or obstruct business.
    • (5) Any other acts equivalent to the above.
  3. If either party is found to violate these representations, the other party may terminate all agreements under these Terms without notice, and the violating party shall immediately settle all obligations without objection.

Suspension of Services, Damages, and Jurisdiction

  1. If a user violates these Terms, we may suspend or terminate the user’s account or services.
  2. If a user’s violation causes damage to our company, we may claim compensation for such damages.
  3. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court, Japan as the court of first instance.

Special Provisions

If any service-specific terms or explanatory pages (collectively “Service Terms”) conflict with these Terms, the Service Terms shall prevail.
